Great hotel for the value. We spent a week holiday at hugo hotel and it was a quite pleasant stay for me and my partner. The room was clean and wide with a jacuzzi and sea view. The staff were kind and helpful. Anvar who checked us in was quite a welcoming guy and gave us a lot of useful tips for our tours. Such well-mannered behavior. The facilities were great too. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the staff were very friendly.

Exceptional Stay at H Hotel in Malta I recently stayed at H Hotel in Malta, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, catering to every need immediately. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the coastline and easy access to key attractions, restaurants, and public transport. My room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The modern amenities and comfortable bed made me feel right at home. I particularly loved the balcony and the jacuzzi. The hotel’s facilities were also outstanding – the rooftop pool and bar were definite highlights, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Overall, H Hotel made my stay in Malta truly unforgettable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

A great adults-only hotel with a modern vibe Overall, our experience at the hotel was positive, with highlights including the modern decor and attentive service. Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted by a transfer organized by the hotel, clearly identified with the name of the reservation. While we also booked a transfer for our departure, we found that using Bolt, public buses, or tourist buses during the stay was more convenient and cost-effective. Bolts were readily available at all major points of interest. Location and surroundings The hotel is situated in St. Julian's, a lively area filled with bars and pubs but also some nice restaurants. The area is clean and well-maintained. Although the rooms are soundproof, during special occasions like New Year’s celebrations, the noise can still be noticeable. On regular days, we did not encounter significant noise issues. Accommodation Our initial room had a problem with the temperature, which was stuck on heating mode and could not be adjusted. The small windows didn’t provide sufficient ventilation, making the stay uncomfortable. However, the hotel acted quickly on our feedback and upgraded us to a better room. The upgraded accommodation was exceptional: spacious, well-lit, and featuring an outdoor hot tub, a balcony with loungers and a table, and stunning views. The room also had two TVs, a sofa, a kitchenette. They provide us one complimentary bottle of prosecco, along with a discount for future stays as compensation for the initial inconvenience. This quick resolution showcased the hotel’s commitment to customer satisfaction. Additionally, to all rooms complimentary bottled water was provided daily, which was a thoughtful touch. Service and cleanliness Housekeeping and towel replacements were provided daily when needed. The room was modern, equipped with controls for lights, blackout curtains, and a convenient "Do Not Disturb" button. On the firsts days, the hot tub water developed an unpleasant odor, possibly due to the rain. Maintenance responded promptly, replacing the water and applying disinfectant within 10 to 20 minutes. Dining and amenities The restaurants under Hugo’s brand delivered good experiences, and the indoor pool was a nice addition. However, we primarily used the hot tub in our room. One area for improvement would be offering more partnerships or discounts with the hotel’s restaurants, as we only received a 10% discount at the terrace restaurant at the start of our stay. The hotel also offers a New Year’s Eve party. Check-in and check-out A security deposit of €250 was required during check-in, which was refunded at check-out after a quick room inspection. Local exploration We highly recommend visiting Valletta, just 20 minutes away by Bolt, as it boasts stunning historical landmarks. Customer service The front desk, reservations, and concierge teams were extremely attentive and efficient, addressing all our requests and resolving every issue we encountered. Their fluency in English made communication seamless.

Great hotel which was spotlessly clean and some facilities such as indoor pool and a steam room included. Can be a good choice for breakfast as well. The hotel is in a very reachable location to the closest bars, restaurants and even the beach. At night it can be not too safe to walk especially on weekends due to the mass of people going for night life activities but that is not related to the hotel. I would like to mention the professionality of the staff. Anvar at the front desk helped us with upgrading our room to a room with a jacuzzi and a great sea view.
